Our Story

Jim Butler Construction Co., Inc., established in 1977, is a Native American owned company operated by Jim Butler, who is the original founder of the company. JBC Inc. spent the first six years in business as a residential and light commercial general contractor. Since that time, JBC has performed Pre-Construction, General Contracting, Construction Management, Design Build and Owner/Lender Representation for institutional, medical, educational, retail and industrial projects. During the last twenty years, we have grown from an annual volume of $100,000 to our current average annual volume of $12-15 million. This controlled growth has led to solid financial strength.

JBC Inc. has completed projects ranging in size from $25,000 to over $7,000,000 and is well versed in all types of project delivery methods including Pre-Construction, General Contracting, Construction Management, Design/Build and Owner/Lender Representation. Our experience and ability to provide all project delivery methods ensures that you receive the proper and appropriate services for virtually any type of project.

JBC prides itself on providing quality construction services at a fair and reasonable price. One of the major keys to our success has been in maintaining a low overhead while selecting projects and markets that fit the resource strengths available within our organization. Jim Butler serves as our President/CEO and Paul McGuire as the Project Manager. Supporting Jim and Paul are Kathy Butler as Chief Financial Officer, Stephanie Lane as Asst. Project Manager/Project Administrator and Vicki Waugh as Contract Administrator. The administrative staff is joined by a core of seasoned project superintendents who provide on-site management. With over 75 years of combined experience, the JBC Inc. staff will prove an invaluable asset to your project.
